In our family atelier, pleats are our language.

For almost 40 years we’ve specialised in pleating and soleil, creating and restoring pieces for luxury houses and private clients who trust us with their most precious garments.

Sometimes things go wrong: a favourite skirt arrives misshaped, a dress takes a tumble-dryer trip, a steamer flattens the volume. When that happens, we’re here to help.

What we do

We bring pleated garments back to life.

We can help with:

• Lost pleats (tumble dried or washed incorrectly)

• Flattened areas (steam or high heat damage)

• Deformed pleats (arrived ruined or misshaped)

We work on:

• Stylyne skirts and dresses

• Other brands’ pleated pieces, particular specializing in high-value or special-event garments

Over the years we’ve restored many expensive or emotionally significant pieces that would otherwise sit unworn at the back of a wardrobe.

When it’s worth repairing

Repairs are most meaningful when the garment is:

• Designer or high-quality

• For a special occasion (weddings, celebrations, important events)

• Sentimental - you can’t imagine letting it go

How it works

2) Send photos
Please include:

• The whole garment

• Close-ups of the damaged area(s)

• Care labels (if available)

3) Assessment & options
Our atelier reviews your images and confirms:

• If restoration is realistic

• What type of repair is possible

• Estimated cost and timeframe

4) Repair in our atelier
If you proceed, our pleating specialists treat the garment in-house, using the same hands and machines we use for Stylyne pieces.

5) Return, renewed
We send your piece back ready to be worn again, not forgotten.

A quick note on what we don’t accept

Our service is designed for garments whose quality and construction support long-lasting restoration.

For that reason, we’re unable to take ultra low-cost fast-fashion items, they’re usually not built to hold a high-level repair.

We focus our time and expertise on pieces that are:

• Designer or high-quality

• Special-occasion or emotionally significant

• Crafted to last once properly restored
